This is my Great Great Grandmother, Louisa Scarani Della Valle in East Harlem, Manhattan, New York. Louisa was born in 1849 and passed in 1938. Technically she is not my blood great great grandmother, as my Great Grandfather, Carmeloni Ignazio was adopted by Louisa and her husband Antonio Della Valle in 1882. He was an abandoned baby.
